From the earliest marks on cave walls, through creating letters and alphabets, to forming words, to printing books, the inherent differences in people and their diverse languages have hindered communication. However, we can also connect in nonverbal ways. The movement of groups of people, whether refugees or migrants, offers us the greatest opportunity to communicate if we choose to embrace it. |
