Tranquility
◄ ► Whooper Reflection • Judith Roderick |
There is something very compelling about a human-sized ancient bird who has been on the planet since the dinosaurs. The whooping crane, one of the two North American crane species, is the world’s most endangered crane with only about 600 now in existence. This quilt was hand drawn from some of my own photographs. It reflects my hope, intention, and prayer that they may continue to grace our skies and landscapes for ages to come. |
