I have always designed my pieces on the computer, transferring them to fabric, then following the lines and colors closely. One day I challenged myself to bypass the computer. I pinned swatches to the wall and noticed that they seemed to “talk” to each other. I added more, enjoying the freedom of this new method. The results pleased me, communicating more of my style and personality than the computer-designed work. Pathways moved me forward to explore new possibilities of self-expression. |
