Transparent and semi-transparent materials are layered on a solid surface, giving a microscopic view and interpretation of cobwebs in a primordial forest. Open spaces in the layers themselves invite exploration of the implied plant material and its filmy covering. The freestanding top layer enables it to move in a breeze, just as a cobweb would.
