I create art quilts, and landscape art is my forte.  Every aspect of the natural world enchants me.  I strive to convey the essence of our environment by combining the nobility of a fine painting with the boundless intrigue of fiber art.  Whether viewed through a microscope or from a satellite, planet Earth provides an infinite array of colors, shapes and textures.  Beauty abounds in its landforms and life forms.

I aim to capture the wonder of our world in fabric and thread.  Starting most often with shots from my camera, I try to distill what captivates me about a place.  It may be the light, the texture, the mystery, the splendor.  A scene may encapsulate time and the endless cycle of life, or play vibrant color against somber shades.  Whatever the intrigue, I try to translate it into fiber.
